Louisa May Alcott was born in Germantown, Pennsylvania on November 29, 1832. Louisa was the nonpareil of the daughters of Bronson Alcott an educator and philosopher and Abigail May Alcott. Her father had a hard battle adjusting to many jobs and due to his lack of taking this job he was unable to support his family. The Alcotts were a very light family and since the money was arriving. The family decided to move to Boston, Massachusetts in 1834 where he began his own work in which he would put his reading methods in practice.
